This page is about
Roomtone is a full service production company, specializing in filmed media and experiences centered around music + community.
It is the creative agency of Wayne Price, who has been producing films for screens of all sizes since 2006 via his former production entity, 31 Squirrel. While directing the feature documentary Heartworn Highways Revisited (2017), about Americana musicians in Nashville performing songs in homes and other relaxed settings, Wayne began hosting intimate concerts with his musician wife, Michelle. She named their events Roomtone, completely unaware of the film production term for recording the tone of room. She just thought it sounded right.
Wayne’s career has led him to mountaintops in Utah and Nepal, ocean cruises with bands and Millennial CEOs, and the bleeding edge of tech and art in Nigeria and Tasmania. Most recently, Wayne’s work on the Roomtone concert series brought him to Silicon Valley, where he served as Creative Lead on the Airbnb Concerts program.
Whether carefully crafting a film or a live event (IRL or virtual), the end goal is always the same - to move people. Emotionally and physically.
